Care at home, arranged around the person

Support in your own home across Malta, from an hour a week to several visits a day. Same faces where we can, so nobody has to explain themselves again each morning.

The person who turns up is the whole service

Everything else is scheduling. Families ask us about rates and hours, and those matter, but what they are really asking is who is going to be in the house.

So we interview every carer in person, take up and actually check references, and confirm their right to work before they meet anyone. We try hard to send the same one or two people rather than whoever is free, because continuity is not a nicety in care. It is most of the point.

If someone is not the right fit for your household, say so and we will change them. No awkwardness and no explanation needed.

What we do

Support that fits the week you actually have

Most people start with less than they expect and add to it. A short visit in the morning is a perfectly good place to begin.

Personal care

Washing, dressing, help to the bathroom and support with medication, done in a way that keeps someone’s dignity intact.

Companionship

Someone to talk to, walk with, or sit alongside. Often the thing that changes a week the most.

Dementia support

Familiar faces on a familiar pattern, because for most people with dementia the routine is the care.

Respite

Cover so a family carer can sleep, work, or go away, arranged for an afternoon or a fortnight.

After hospital

Extra support in the weeks after a discharge, when the risk of going back in is highest.

More about each one

Getting started takes one phone call

Nothing is signed at the first visit, and there is no charge for it.

1

Call or write

Tell us roughly what is happening. You do not need to have it worked out, and it is fine if you are ringing about someone who has not agreed to help yet.

2

We visit

We come to the house, meet the person the care is for, and talk about what a week looks like. Free, and you are under no obligation afterwards.

3

Care starts

We agree the visits and who will make them. You can change or stop it whenever you like.

For families

Most people call later than they meant to

Usually after a fall, a hospital stay, or a run of months where one family member has quietly been doing everything. By then the decision feels bigger than it is.

A small amount of help early tends to work better than a lot of help late. It also tends to be easier for the person receiving it to accept, which matters more than families expect.

Talk to someone before you decide anything

We would rather have a conversation that ends in us saying you do not need us yet than sell you visits you are not ready for. Call, or send a message and we will call you back.
