Continuity is a scheduling decision before it is a value
Every care company says it puts people first. The difference shows up in the rota, which is where the promise is either kept or quietly broken.
Sending whoever is free is more efficient and it is how most agencies fill a week. We plan the other way round, starting from who a person already knows and building the week from there. It means we take on fewer clients than we could, and it is the reason we would rather turn work away than accept it and cover it badly.
We will say when we are not the answer
Some situations need a nursing home, a district nurse, or a doctor rather than a carer. Telling you that costs us the work and is still the right call.
We do not sell hours you do not need
If two visits a week would do, we will say two. Families frequently arrive expecting to be talked upwards.
Carers are employed, not introduced
The people who visit are ours. You are not being matched with a self employed stranger and left to manage the relationship yourself.
You can stop whenever you want
No notice period and no exit conversation. If it is not working, it should be easy to end.

Malta is small enough that most of the island is reachable, but travel time is real and it comes out of the visit if the rota is built carelessly. We plan rounds geographically so that a half hour visit is a half hour with the person rather than twenty minutes and a rush.
If you are a long way from anyone else we visit, we will tell you honestly whether we can do it well before agreeing to it.
